Cannigione:

is a relaxed small resort and tourist port on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, close to Olbia and the Costa Smeralda. Its close proximity to beautiful beaches and the mountains of Gallura is shared with the nearby Costa Smeralda, although it doesn't share the carefully-sculpted resorts and higher prices of that section of coastline.

The shops and restaurants cluster along the seafront and high street, and accommodation stretches up the hill behind, giving most places views across the bay to the hills and mountain ranges beyond. There is a small sandy beach in the resort, within walking distance of all accommodation. Other beaches are a walk or short car ride away, or accessible by boat, either north towards Palau or round the coast to the Costa Smeralda.
