La Legnaia is an independent studio flat with private terrace. It is set in a peaceful south-facing garden with magnificent views across the Ombrone Valley and Monte Amiata beyond. It is a small but functional apartment with terracotta floor and beamed ceiling. There are basic cooking facilities in the kitchen/sitting area, a double bed on a mezzanine floor and a bathroom with shower. The spacious outdoor terrace is equipped with table, chairs and umbrella. Barbecue facilities are available.

Location
Pari - Alta Maremma
The splendid hilltop location of Pari provides spectacular views across unspoilt countryside extending towards Monte Amiata. This is the Alta Maremma – a largely protected area of nature reserves, rivers and extensive woodland. There is no industry here, a scarcely populated area that has traditionally survived on agriculture. Olive groves are widespread and vineyards increasingly gaining importance since the recognition of Montecucco DOC wine status in 2000. Five minutes from Pari are the Petriolo thermal springs – a series of hot baths in a beautiful setting alongside the River Farma, where upstream there are several pools for bathing. Despite its rural location, Pari is only 35 minutes from Siena. The Tuscan coast – Castiglione della Pescaia, Alberese – Montalcino and the Val d’Orcia, Massa Marittima, and Monte Amiata can all be reached within an hour’s drive.
