Description
Castello D'Urso Somma is a family run Bed and Breakfast. It is set in lush palm-filled gardens and is housed in the annexes of a historic castle. It is conveniently located for guests who want to spend a day at the beach or go in to town for shopping.It is 250 metres from the beach, 6 min by car from Catania Fonatanarossa Airport and eight kilometres from Catania old city centre. There are no pavements though, so walking is not advisable. When you have a car, the location is very convenient for exploring most of the island. There is a seasonal outdoor pool (usually opened from the 2nd half of May until the end of September although dates vary according to the local weather) surrounded by palms, games for children on request and complimentary onsite parking.The B&B offers 10 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which feature bright, modern decor with Sicilian antique-style furnishings. Amenities include cable television and desks. Private bathrooms offer hair dryers on request.

Continue in the direction of Lidi Playa/Viale Kennedy. Drive to the end of Viale Kennedy (about five kilometres in length) until a small roundabout. Turn right and the property is the second gate on the right. -Catania Port: Leave the port and drive towards direction of Lidi Playa/Viale Kennedy. Drive to the end of Viale Kennedy (about five kilometres in length) until a small roundabout. Turn right and the property is the second gate on the right. -Catania Central Station: Leave the Station and follow direction Airport/Lidi Playa/Viale Kennedy.
