Description
La Maison Rose is a 100 year old house next to our villa that we bought as a guest house. It has been completely renovated from the floor to the roof with the highest quality materials. There is one large bedroom with two twin beds, a desk and builtin closet with drawers. In the living room are another two twin beds that serve as couches during the day. There is a SAT TV with many channels and air conditioning/heating unit. The dining table seats 4. There is another table on the terrace which seats 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave and large refrigerator. There is a separate laundry with washer and dryer. The bathroom is in two separate rooms, one with two sinks and the other with toilet and large walkin shower. The bathroom walls are tiled with spanish tile in a "Granada" fashion. There is a CD and Radio. All furnishings are new! Weekly maid service is included in the price. There are no additional charges. Villefranche sur Mer is a 700 year old fishing village that has become the "Beverly Hills" of Nice. La Maison Rose is located at the end of a private road among very expensive estate homes. It is totally quiet and is a 15 minute walk to the town down a winding staircase. The train in Villefranche takes you to Monte Carlo in 25 minutes. Nice is within walking distance or by bus from the Col d'Villefranche. Swimming in the Bay of Villefranche is a wonderful experience. Is is crystal clear and warm. The sea temperature is between 75 and 80 degrees from June 15 to September 30.
