Nestling in the village of Charmé in the beautiful and tranquil countryside of The Charente region, close to many tourist sites such as Cognac, Angouleme and the protected Mediaeval village of Tusson, La Rose offers beautiful accommodation for those wishing to escape to a simpler, more relaxing pace of life.
The gite consists of two good sized double en-suite bedrooms with large walk-in wardrobes, a large fully equipped kitchen/diner and a comfortable lounge with stone fireplace and exposed beams. There is access to SKY TV although guests need to supply their own viewing card for other than freeview channels.A video and DVD player are also available, along with a selection of videos, DVD’s books and games. The kitchen lead out through double French doors to a patio and BBQ area.
La Rose benefits from the sole use of a stunning floodlit fully enclosed swimming pool and sun terrace.A large enclosed garden can be found to the rear of the property.
A covered art area, table tennis and table football are available.
Location Details
Centre of a quiet village
La Rose is directly adjacent to the Mairie in the quiet village of Charmé. The village has it's own boulangerie, post office and Church. There are restaurants/bars in the neighbouring villages of Coucome and Tusson.
On the doorstep are wonderfuil walks through the Charente countryside.
