Ruth Lake is one of the prettiest in the Cariboo, the area being know for its healthy four-season climate of relatively dry and warm summers and fairly cold - but also dry - winters. Ruth Lake Lodge and the cottages are beautifull handcrafted woodstructures in harmony with the wilderness surroundings, the ideal place for your getaways, family reunions, wedding, seminars, or business retreat. The possibilities are endless. For visitors from all over the wolrd it is good to know that we speak Dutch, German and French as well. Stay a couple of nights it can make a real nice break in your overwhelming Canada adventure. Road trips are usually more tiring than expected, if you need expert advice for your trip we can help as well.
Location Details
Forest Grove, 30 km east of 100 Mile House, BC Cariboo Canada
From the South: Take Hwy 97 North towards 100 Mile House. Continue through 100 Mile House and you come to a traffic light ( approx. 1km ) out of town. Turn right at this traffic light onto Canim-Hendrix Lake Road follow this road to the Forest Grove Store ( approx. 20 km). At the store you will come to a 3-way stop, continue on straight through the stop sign on Eagle Creek Road. Follow Eagle Creek Road until the road splits, stay to the right and follow the road for 4 km and you willl find Ruth Lake road on the left hand side.
From the North: Take Hwy 97 South towards 100 Mile House. Just before you enter 100 Mile ( approx 1km ) at the traffic light take the Canim Hendrix Lake road to the Left continue as above. From the beginning of this road it is 4 km to the Lodge just follow the signs.
