In this stand-alone villa , 150 m away from the local road and the first houses, you will find peaceful and quite place.
A large garden, surrounding the house, with 1000 sq m gives you
a sense of the comfortable stay and yet easily overooloked.

Situated in the small village of Frankovici just to the north east of the Limski Kanal Villa Barbara is a Istrian house built of the stone and complemented by wodden window shutters.
Villa Barbara sits in its own spacious, lawned grounds, almost completely enclosed by a stone wall and surrounded by fields. From the first floor there are wonderful views across the countryside as far as the Adriatic Sea.

The villages of Sv. Lovrec (7km) or Kanfanar (10km) offer basic shops, a post office, bank, cafes and several 'konobas' (typical country inns). From Villa Barbara access to places of interest is quick and easy.

The nearby fjord Limski Kanal is a sightseeing place.Here you can taste some of the freshest oysters, mussels and fish in Croatia.

Dvigrad castle, abandoned in the 17th century, nowadays only the ruins remain but is a well-preserved and well worht visiting.

Vrsar (18km) is a seaside town with evening events like classical music concerts in the summer months and local bars just beside
beaches and marina.

Pula is Istria's capital. More than 3000 years old with its Forum and Arena and cultural events is well worth visiting day and night.

The Brijuni Islands, a small archipelago as a National Park.
