Le Refuge is a beautifully cosy 2 Bedroom while Chalet Le Refuge is a spacious 4 bedroom house.
Recently built constructed with eco friendly materials,
2km from the Ski resort of Les Orres and 10km to Embrun & there is a host activities for all the family winter and summer.
Le Refuge is well equipped to accommodate 4 people or 6 persons if the sofa bed is used; while Chalet Le Refuge will easily accommodate 9 but if sofa beds are used can accomodate 15!
Entrance Doors open onto living/kitchen areas with wood burning stoves and sofa beds, kitchens have gas hob with electric ovens and refrigerators. On Ground Floor is the WC's, WHB's and shower's.
Chalet Le Refuge also has a large separate living room with 2 sofa beds. Total ground floor has underfloor heating.
The lovely larch staircase leads to the 1st floor!
Le Refuge has a Double Bedroom interlinked with a bedroom with 2 single beds. Both Bedrooms have roof windows.
Chalet Le Refuge has 4 Double Bedrooms (Single and double Beds) on 1st and 2nd floor and also 2 separate WC's and a large Bathroom.
Bed linen and towels can be provided.
The hot water is generated by solar panels which is topped up by the gas boiler.
Road from Gap to Briancon, just before arriving at Embrun turn right at large roundabout towards Les Orres. After 12km on this road after village of Les Orres is the hamlet Les Ribes is on the left at end of the staight. Take 2nd entrance before bridge. Follow signs for Jarbelle.

Les Ribes / Les Orres is located at 1650 m above the stunning lake of Serre- Poncon and the historic town of Embrun. The station of Les Orres with its beautiful forest and pastures offers diverse holiday options in both winter and summer.
Summer Activities
Les Orres offers a wide range of activities for all the family such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, tennis, horse riding, jungle adventure and paragliding.
Space Mountain Biking (VTT): The station offer families a pleasant walk in the woods and for the more adventurous bikers can train in one of the best Bike Parks which is suitable for all levels of competency. There is access to 2 chair lifts Prelongis (1900 m) and Pousterie (2530 m) which are open from 9.30 am on 25thand 26thJune and everyday from 2 July - 4 September.

Club Juni’ Orres: For children aged 6-12 years old this club offers stimulating activities from July 4 to August 26 Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 12.30 pm and from 14.00 to 17.30.
Heritage: Les Orres and the surrounding areas boasts a host of treasures to discover such as Church Sante Marie Madeleine and the Museum of Les Orres. Guided tours available.
Winter Activities
Les Orres (1650 to 2770m) has access to 63 km of downhill skiing with 29 pistes and 25 ski lifts. The resort has a sunny southerly location with a good variety of challenging terrain for both skiers and snowboarders .

Embrun: The beautiful medieval town of Embrun is located approximately 12 km from Les Orres. It sits on a cliff-top plateau overlooking the upper Durance River just before it flows into the Lac de Serre-Poncon. The view of Embrun from across the river with the higher mountains beyond is spectacular. The centre of the town is ancient and very interesting with its meandering cobble locked streets. The several squares and a pedestrian zone with shops restaurants and market place make exploring interesting. The cathedral Notre-Dame-du Real is an impressive building and the main portail “le Real” is listed a s a remarkable example of Lombard art. There are an abundance of activities to suit all including:
