The apartment is situated in the heart of old city center of magnificent village Ventabren. It has been renovated this year and is full equipped. The apartment can be rented between July and September by 2-4 people for only 400 euros per week or 100 euros per day (daily charge will be reduced when renting for multiple days). There is a double bedroom, spacious leaving room and kitchen, bathroom.
Ventabren is a charming village, perched at the top hill and dominated by the ruins of the Chateau of Queen Jeanne. Ideally situated in the middle of the Marseille (33km) - Aix en Provence (16km) - Salon de Provence (26km) triangle. Ventabren boasts a picturesque Provencal backdrop and countryside. In the village you will quickly fall under the spell of the little cobbled streets, full of flowers and lined by beautiful stone houses. Ventabren is unique in that it boasts the largest stone aqueduct in the world. The Roquefqvour Aqueduct was constructed in 19th century by young 26 yeqr old engineer Franz Mayor de Montricher to transport water from Durance to Marseille.
Things to see in Ventabren: 17th century church, remains of the Chateau of Queen Jeanne, the Old Mill, Roquefqvour Aqueduct, Ventabren Museum.
Leisure activities: Market, walking, biking, tennis, boules, motor-cross.
Ventabren is 26km away from Marseille airport and 9km from Aix en Provence TGV station.
