Les Deserts our beautifully restored cottage is situated next to a pine forest, it offers a haven of peace and tranquillity whilst still being close to all of Normandy's attractions. An ideal base for a family or romantic holiday. it offers all round panoramic views with a large south facing garden which has a plunge pool and sunny terrace with gazebo, table & chairs and BBQ . Inside the cottage benefits from exposed oak beams, granite fireplace with large wood burner for cooler nights, Satellite TV and DVD (large selection of films & surround-sound ). The open plan kitchen is fully equipped to make your holiday more comfortable with dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob and oven etc. The master bedrooms have double beds and the third is a twin with TV & Video , all are pleasantly furnished. The cottage is close to nature walks, local bars and all amenities.

Being on the edge of 3 regions Calvados, Manche and Orne Les Deserts is the perfect location for discovering all that Normandy has to offer, from the D-day beaches and the coastal town of Granville to the Mont St Michel and Bayeux, all a must when visiting this part of France.
Also the the pretty little town of Villedieu De Poules which is well known for its manufacture of copper pans, it also holds a vibrant weekly market a good place to stock up on local produce, or maybe just sit in a cafe and enjoy watching the locals go about their every day business, all these places are within easy reach of the cottage.
Les Deserts is easily reached from one of the main ports, and flights to Caen Airport are available from most united kingdom Airports.

Tariff Notes
Linen £8 per head, this includes all bedding, hand & bath towels and tee towels all beds will be made up prior to your arrival, ( please bring your own beach & pool Towels) .
The cottage is available after 4pm on your day of arrival and ends at 10am on the day of your departure. please note this is a non smoking house and is only permitted out-side. please note that electricity & gas is all included,
Please email for Christmas and new year 2010 as these dates are flexable.Low season (Excluding Easter Holidays) breaks are available at £80 per night with a minimum of 3 nights stay, Start dates are fleible during low season
You are kindly requested to leave the cottage as clean as you would expect to find it, however if you decide you don't wan't to clean on your departure day please add £30 to your holiday total

Les Deserts stands in its own large well maintained gardens with beautiful views of the countryside, The south facing terrace has a lovely view of the neighbouring pine forest, it is a wonderful place to sit and relax any time of year, you may also be able to spot some of the local wildlife including deer, red squirrels, hares and the many different birds that frequent the garden and if you are lucky wild boar.
There is a gazebo on the terrace with table/chairs and barbecue and plenty of out door lights for dining alfresco. To cool off in the summer months there is a large plunge pool with sun loungers and for our younger guests there is a sand pit (bucket & spade provided) and a selection of garden toys (a small paddling pool is available for toddlers).
