Welcome to Hart of Mull self catering log cabins on the beautiful island of Mull. Our two Finnish log cabins are well equipped and built to a high standard.Our cabins are set in 1.5 acres of land on the edge of the village of Salen. Hart of Mull self catering log cabins are centural on the isle of mull so an ideal base to see all the island as to offer The Hebridean island of Mull is the third largest island in Scotland. With stunning natural beauty from rocky bays and white beaches to Hills and mountains to moorland and deciduous woodland and shelted lochs with mulls wildlife as varied as it scenery. What ever you want from your holiday or vacation Mull as lots to offer from trips to see puffins,whales and dolphins or a boat trip to go fishing or to see fingles cave on staffa where Mendalssohn was inspired to write his Hebrides overture. Iona off the south of the island where you can take a day trip to see Iona Abbey. On Mull we have thousands of birds from the famous white tailed sea eagles,golden eagles and many other birds of pray to ducks,kittiwakes,fulmars.black guillemots and a number of gulls to name a few. If you are a seasoned bird watcher you can wonder off on Mull and see these for your self or book a day trip with a guide we also have seals otters and many deer here on mull. Here on Mull there are plenty of walks from the gardens of torrasay and aros park or for the more adveturous Ben More mulls only munro which starts at sea level and rises to a hight of ----feet can be climed from the north at dhiseig or the south near scridan although this is the harder climb. The history of Mull is as varied as its scenery there are signs of celts and norse with standing stones.duns,brochs and castles.
