To the front of the property is a large decked patio which is ideal for outdoor dining, or just relaxing with a glass of wine while watching the red kites soar overhead.

At the rear of the property is private parking for two cars.

The property is on one level, and while accessible for most, there are three or four steps leading to the cottage which might make wheelchair access rather difficult.

Location Details

The location of the cottage makes it the perfect base from which to explore the Cardigan Bay area. Aberaeron offers a good selection of restaurants. bars, and local shops, while New Quay, with it's lovely sandy beach, is a few miles along the coast.

The Ty Glyn Hotel is less than 150 metres away from the property, and can be accessed directly from Tyglyn by foot, so there is no need to take the car if you want to enjoy a lovely meal or drink.

Less than 10 minutes walk away is the 'secret garden' of Tyglyn Aeron. There is a walled garden here which has a play area for small children, and some beautiful landscaping. Running alongside the garden is the River Aeron, and lovely forestry, which is a great place for a stroll, or for birdwatchers.

Further afield, Cardigan Bay has some fantastic sandy beaches such as Mwnt, Tresaith, and Aberporth. Dolphins and seals can sometimes be spotted from the beaches, or alternatively, 'dolphin spotting' boat trips depart daily from Aberaeron and New Quay.

The area is a walker's paradise - the 40mile long Ceredigion Coastal Path follows the coastline over awsome rugged cliffs, and along stunning, unspoilt beaches, with views of Cardigan Bay all the way. To the north east, and just a short drive from the cottage, are the Cambrian Mountains which have some of the most isolated landscape to be found in England and Wales.
