‘Le Tilleul’ is an 18th Century farmhouse set amidst unspoilt countryside and forests, the perfect family holiday destination in a beautiful part of southwest France.Teeming with wildlife, Dordogne is a paradise for countryside lovers, perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers alike, and those simply seeking tranquillity in a land of fantastic architecture, character and French charm !
15 mins from beautiful Brantome (Venice of the Perigord) and 35 mins from mediaeval Perigueux, capital of the Dordogne.
"Le Figuier" sleeps 8 people whilst "La Vigne" sleeps 4.
Both our gites have been tastefully restored and offer exceptional self-catering accommodation.
"Le Figuier"is a comfortable and very spacious farmhouse. French doors from the courtyard lead into the lounge with its tiled floor and exposed beams and stonework. The sitting room is light and airy with ample seating for 8,TV and DVD. Cool in summer, but equipped with a large fireplace holding a wood-burning stove for out of season use.
The kitchen/dining room is large and airy with windows and French doors opening up onto the terrace, providing views of the grounds and surrounding countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of storage, cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Upstairs there are 4 comfortable double bedrooms – 2 with king-size beds and 2 twin bed rooms; all with stone and timber features and oak flooring.
There are two large and recently refurbished bathrooms.

From the channel ports, ‘"Le Tilleul"’ is reached most directly by road via Limoges.
From Limoges, take N21 towards Périgueux. At La Coquille, turn right on to D79.
After approx. 12Km, turn left on to D82 to St Pardoux-la-Rivière. In St Pardoux, turn left on to D707 to Milhac de Nontron.
In Milhac de Nontron Continue past crossroads with Mairie on right. After 150 metres, take the next right turn (phone box on corner) signposted “Villars”. After about 1Km, see a bus sign and to Magnac 0.7Km - turn right. At top of hill, turn right into courtyard of ‘"Le Tilleul".

BOOKINGS ARE FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.
WEEKEND ONLY BREAKS ARE AVAILABLE OFF PEAK SEASON AND FLEXIBLE STAYS OVER CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR – PRICES WILL BE GIVEN ON REQUEST ACCORDING TO DURATION OF STAY.
A refundable security deposit of €200 will be required on arrival in case of any damage to the property or its contents.
Bed linen, cot and highchair are provided free of charge but NOT towels.
These can be rented at €7 per person per week.

Additional Information
Our secluded 6 x 12 metre swimming pool overlooks the surrounding countryside and woodland and benefits from being in all day sunshine.
The large garden provides plenty of space for play and games – we have erected a football net, and badminton set, boules and bicycles are available.
Other activities in the immediate vicinity include tennis courts & football pitch (a 10 minute walk away in the village), horse-riding, paintball, fishing and canoeing. Microlight hire is also available in nearby Brantome.
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday and prices include bed linen but not towels.
