The cottage sleeping 2-4 (ideal small family or couples) with its original exposed beams, consists of an open lounge dining area & corner kitchen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave & electric hob.

In the lounge there is French TV, DVD player (films available), & games, double sofa bed & two arm chairs.

One bedroom with double bed.

Fully tiled shower room with toilet & wash basin.

Bed linen (pillows, duvets, covers) & towels are provided with the
exception of towels for the swimming pool.

WIFI Internet connection.

In the grounds there is a swimming pool shared with owners, 8.5 x 4.5 metres, depth 1.25 to 1.50 metres, with roman steps & decking to two sides.
The property has its own area with BBQ, patio table & chairs.

Also available table tennis & boules.

No smoking inside the property.

Ste Alvere is situated in the heart of the Perigord in the delightful department of the Dordogne close to the popular market town of Le Bugue.
The local village of Ste. Alvere, which is the truffle centre of France, has bakers,butchers, bank, post office, Drs , chemist etc.
The Dordogne/Vezere Rivers offer canoing, swimming, fishing and boat rides.
Domme is set on a steep promontory with breathtaking views across the Dordogne valley.It is one of the few bastides to have retained most of its 13th century ramparts and three old town gates.
La Roque Gageac is an ancient riverside village with fascinating architecture,exotic gardens, caves and a troglodyte fort built into the cliff.
Beynac has a dramatic fortress Chateau de Beynac perched atop a sheer cliff above the village which is built on the river bank.
