This high quality apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) is situated in the tranquil fishing village of Akbuk, 15 minutes dolmus/car journey from the bustling resort of Altinkum, in the Aydin region of Turkey. Akbuk is an ideal place to relax & unwind and is situated in a large bay with shallow waters (safe for children) surrounded by green mountains and protected pine forests!
The resort is popular with Turkish holiday makers giving it a real Turkish vibrancy and outside the peak months of July/August it is more tranquil,when relaxation is the order of the day.
The apartment is on a small complex with large pool, children’s pool and gardens with fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning/mosquito screens throughout and balconies overlooking pool/green areas from all rooms. The apartment is a short walking distance of the dolmus (bus) park which has a bus service into lively Altinkum, a popular resort apx 15 mins from Akbuk with stunning beaches, shops and a main seafront promenade offering countless Turkish & English run bars and restaurants.
In summary, this accommodation is suited to those wanting sun, sea and sand in a traditional resort, within easy reach of other lively resorts with numerous facilities and places of natural/historical interest.

Rental rates are inclusive of all electricity, water, laundry (for 4 people) and cleaning at the end of your stay. For additional people an extra small charge is applicable for laundry only.
A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable to confirm your booking.
Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to occupation, alongwith an additional £100 security deposit which will be retained to cover any damages or extra cleaning. This security deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure from the property subject to any deductions to cover any breakages, damages or extra cleaning.
Smokers are respectfully requested to smoke only on the balconies and not inside the apartment.
No pets are allowed at the property.
Towels are provided for personal use only and are not to be used for the beach or poolside, please provide your own towels for this type of usage.

Additional Information
The Sea Shell apartment has been furnished to a high standard and is fully equipped, home-from-home.
For your comfort there are heating/air conditioning units in all living areas and bedrooms and mosquito screens are fitted to all patio doors and windows throughout, allowing you to take advantage of the outside weather throughout the year.
Lounge/Kitchen:
There is an open-plan lounge and fully fitted kitchen comprising of the following:
Kitchen – Fully fitted and equipped with electric oven/hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, iron, ironing board, toaster, kettle and numerous cooking pots, pans & utensils.
Living Room – with modern suspended designer ceiling and recessed lighting and air conditioning/heating unit. This open plan lounge has a 3 seater sofa bed and single armchair, coffee table, digital TV and satellite (English channels) and large sliding glass patio door leading to the large balcony overlooking the communal pool with patio furniture.
Master Bedroom with En-suite:
The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, 2 bedside cabinets, air conditioning/heating unit and large sliding glass patio door leading to large balcony with table and chairs overlooking the communal pool/childrens’ splash pool and gardens. Further door leads to the en-suite bathroom, having a large shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin. Note that a hair dryer is provided for your use.
Second Bedroom:
Having 2 single beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, air conditioning/heating unit and patio door leading to large private balcony with table and chairs overlooking a protected green area. A hairdryer is provided for your use.
Family Bathroom:
Accessed from the main hallway, this high quality, fully tiled bathroom has a top of the range jacuzzi bath with overhead shower head, toilet and hand basin.
Outside:
There are ample sunbeds and patio furniture provided, which can easily be moved around the pool area or onto the terraces to take advantage of the sun and shade throughout the day.
Only 250 metres from all main facilities, beach and harbour, this apartment has 2 balconies (one which allows you to monitor your children around the swimming pool area) and is on a small, well maintained complex consisting of a large communal pool and children’s splash pool, all set within landscaped and walled gardens surrounded by individual villas with private pools and a small number of apartments. There is ample parking at the entrance of the complex.
Notes on Accommodation:
The apartment is suitable for winter lets as the air conditioning also provides heating. Quilts are also provided. Please note that the apartment is no smoking but ashtrays have been made available for use on the balconies only. Apartment towels are not for beach or poolside use. Welcome packs available upon request for an additional small cost.
Directions to Apartment:
The directions to Sea Shell Apartments will be forwarded upon receipt and clearance of final payment, 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Places or Interest:
There are many places of historical and natural interest around the Aegean Coast region within a 2 hour drive of the apartment but the closest site is the huge ‘Temple of Apollo’, located in Didim (10 minutes drive from the apartment), which is well worth a visit. However, for those of you who do not wish to drive there are numerous coach tours which leave from Altinkum on a daily basis during high season to the local water park, nearby coastal resorts of Bodrum and Kusadasi and numerous places of both historical and natural interest such as Lake Bafa, Pamukale and Dilek MilliParki and historical sites including Priene, Ephesus, House of the Virgin, Miletos and Alinda. There are a wide variety of other activities available around Akbuk such as walking, cycling, Jeep safari and a large number of boat trips around the bay both from Akbuk harbour (250 metres from the apartment) and to the Greek Island of Kos from Altinkum.
Additional Information:
Flight arrangements, car hire and holiday insurance will be the responsibility of the visitors travelling. Please also note that at time of publication visas for Europeans can be purchased on arrival at the airport (on the left-hand side prior to passport control) for a small fee of £10 Pounds Stirling note per person (UK Passport holder) and Euros 10 note per person for European passport holder. Note that it is the responsibility of the traveller to pay this visa fee and ensure that they have sufficient correct funds to purchase the visa.
