Listing description

Magpie B&B is a 3 year old home with views over Varna lake.
Facilities include a nice swimming pool, which has a shallow end and a paddling area. There are plenty of loungers and seating for catching the sun and having a drink from the pool side bar.
Our summer kitchen is great for the evenings or for when you want to use the BBQ, we would be happy to hold a BBQ nights with food and drink for an all in set price.
For lunch we can provide a selection of light snack foods and each day we post our dinner menu plans and would be happy to make extra helpings should you like a meal in.
We also have a shared lounge with TV / DVD and a DVD / Video collection for your use.
The bar will be opened on request serving a selection of hot and cold drinks.
The Single room can accommodate 3 (single bed an a bunk bed) and comes equipped with air-conditioning.
The Double room can accommodate 2 and has a private balcony, TV / DVD, hot drinks trays and air-conditioning.
The En-suite room can accommodate 2 and has a private balcony, TV / DVD, hot drinks trays and air-conditioning.

Varna - The Sea Capital Of Bulgaria !
The city is nestled in a deep valley between the Frengen Plareau and the Avren Plateau. it follows the curves of the Bay of Varna. It is surrounded by gardens, vineyards and groves.
There is a Dolphinarim which is nice to see, Also the Naval, Archaeogy and Natural science museums, And the Roman baths.
Varna has lots of shopping (still quite cheap here!), plenty of Night Clubs, Casinos and Bars.
An excelent Day or Night out is very easy to have here.
Kalimantsi is placed on a plateau above Varna lake, surrounded by grassland and sunflower fields, close enough to Varna to enjoy the city and far enough away to relax in the country.
There is lots to do in the village and close by for those who want to get out and about.

Aladja Monastery - the most famous rock monastery along the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
Pobiti Kamani ("The Stone Forest") - A natural attraction Pobiti Kamuni (The Stone Forest) is located in the western part of Varna lowland and it consists of cylindrical stone columns fixed in a small desert. The stone columns have porous surface and rise to an altitude of 5 - 6 m.
Balchik-Botanical Garden - visit the Quiet Nook Palace and its magnificent park sprawling on an area of 35 hectars.

The Double room can accomadate 2 and has a private balcony, TV / DVD, hot drinks trays with aircon for 15.00 Euro (single occupancy 22.50 Euro).
The En-suite room can accomadate 2 and has a private balcony, TV / DVD, hot drinks trays with aircon for 20 Euro (single occupancy 30 Euro).
Prices are per person per night and includes breakfast.
Book 3 months in advance for 10% DISCOUNT on 7 ngt stay!
25% deposit to secure booking and remaining ammount on arrival.

Additional Information
Kalimantsi village is on the hill with views over Varna lake, it has two traditional restaurants and a cafe/Bar. There are lots of activities such as fishing, horse riding, quad bike hire, jeep safari, nature walks, helicopter tours and much more!
We are idealy located for relaxation and sightseeing.
Directions:-
From Varna Airport we offer a free pick up and Drop off service which only takes 15 minutes.
Driving to Varna takes 20 minutes and you need to take the motorway to Sofia. Tturn off for Dobrich / Aksakovo and continue on this road up the hill. Turn off on the lleft for Survorovo / Kalimantsi and take the last left into Kalimantsi signed Banovo. At the T junction turn right
Magpie B&B is 200 meters on the left
Kalimantsi is on the local bus route to Varna.
By Taxi ask to go to the Kalimantsi Han. From there head direct towards Banovo. We are the second last house in the village on the left.
Expect to pay about 20 lev during the day.
