Le Bouriou provides ideal holiday accommodation for one or two families or larger groups of adults. Comfortably sleeping up to 10/12 it is situated in the quiet but friendly rural village of St Antonin de Lacalm, close to the Lac de La Bancalie.
As you will see from the our website there are plenty of activities to do, places to see and fetes to enjoy in the region, or, just chill out with a glass of local wine (AOC Gaillac) and enjoy this restored farmhouse holiday gite with it's walled 11m x 5m saltwater swimming pool and al fresco dining on the terrace outside.
St Antonin boasts its own boulangerie. Shopping facilities and weekly market can be found 15 mins away in Realmont.
The departmental town of ALBI is only 25 mins distant (a 'must see')and richly deserving of its 4 emblem 'ville fleurie' status. As a tourist destination and university town there is a more than usual selection of restaurants, bars, brasseries and nightlife for you to enjoy.
Great value lunchtime dining can be found in the local villages where you can enjoy good honest, country cooking with 3 course set meals starting at between 12 and 15 euros.
We are 2 1/4 hours from the Mediterranean so a day at the beach can also be part of your vacation.
The gite is located within 1 1/2 to 2 hours driving time of three regional airports, the largest and best served of which is at Toulouse, giving clients the option of a fly-drive holiday if they so wish.

Here are some additional features that you will find in the farmhouse and, services from FRENCH FARMHOUSE HOLIDAYS:
* In the kitchen we have posted a notice board with pertinent information such as emergency tel. numbers, the nearest chemists, local restaurant details, bakery and supermarket opening hours etc. This is in addition to the normal folders packed with local info and brochures. There is also a tourist map of the Tarn on the wall to help you plan your trips.
* None of the double bedrooms are adjacent to each other therebye ensuring privacy.
* You will find a library of paperbacks offering the traditional style of holiday reading matter (nothing too highbrow!).
* There are a number of radios and CD players dotted around the house which you are welcome to move about as you wish.
* There are seven cycles which guests are welcome to use at no extra charge.
* For late-arriving clients we are happy to purchase a starter food pack on your behalf. Just let us know your requirements in advance.
* A French Farmhouse Holidays partner is always available to help with any problems and provide local knowledge.
