Listing description
The house is a two bedroom timber framed town house in the medieval Cathar town of Mirepoix. It is located 150m from the medieval town square which contains restuarants, cafe bars and shops.
The house as been recently renovated and the original timber frame construction is exposed in most of the rooms. A small courtyard is located to the rear of the house.

Mirepoix is a lovely medieval town crammed packed with character. The highlight of the town is the central square which is surrounded by half timbered medieval houses supported on wood pillars creating a magnificent covered arcade. The ends of the joists of the richest houses are sculpted with the most beautiful are on the Maison des Consuls.
Market day is on a Monday and the town holds many festivals and events during the year.
Mirepoix is a great location for exploring the region which contains many Cathar castles, vineyards, mountain lakes, walking and skiing in the Pyrenees.
