We cater for all your needs,
Within the 17 acres, we have areas set aside for picninc and barbeques. You will find the idyllic spot, take time to sit, relax and unwind by one of the Lakes,
Both children and adults can enjoy the 2 swimming pools on-site, we have a designated small childrens play area (under 5's) and a large grassed area set aside from the main campsite for all ball games.
Twinlakes is based in the heart of culture and history, visit one of the local vine yards, we arrange visits for wine tasting evenings, sample the wines, pineau and cognac.
Local Markets for fresh produce, the Thermal Spa at Jonzac, and leisure swimming centre, the man made beach at Montendre, with forests and cycle routes, so much to see and do in the area.

From the North -
A10 exit 37, follow the signs for Mirambeau.
In Mirambeau, the first Left directions Montendre (D730)
passing Soubran, Courpignac, Chamoullac - you will then see Twinlakes signposted on the right.

From the South
A10 exit 38, follow the signs for Montendre.
follow the signs to the roundabout in Montendre,
take the 3rd exit directions Mirambeau (D730)
Passing the sign Soumeras on your right (posted twice)
just after the 2nd sign, watch for the sign Twinlakes on the left.

You are also able to use the N10 route (no tolls)

We have 6 mobile homes available.

We are able to take parties of up to 24 persons.
(4 in each mobile home).

In Low Season, Breakfast and 3 course evening Meals can be arranged and served in our Dinning area.

If you are either a fisherman or Golfer Party, we can offer a package for 8 or more persons,

If your holidaying in France for the sport, either Golf or Fishing, Twinlakes offers the perfect base.

Whilst spending a few hours "wetting the net" on either of our lakes, the rest of the family will have full use of our facilities be it either the swimming pool, TV room with english TV and Sky, and Pool Table.

At the bar, you will find both French and English Beers, Strongbow Cider, and Guinness, along with the french wines,

The snack bar is open at night, 6pm - 8pm serving 3 course meals,

In our Main Season (July - August)
We can offer the following

Monday - Visit local Vine Yard, 7.30pm, A little history of the vines, a tour of the vines, followed by wine tasting,

Tuesday - Is the night Market in Montendre (end of July and all August)

Wednesday - Quizz night - at the bar 9pm

Friday - "Pig Roast Night" a real get together.

If your off playing that round of Golf, at the 9 hole clourse in Montendre, just 5 mins drive from us, why not let the ladies visit our friends at "Chatenet Sanctuary" mini health spa. at nearby Le Bourg 17210 Chatenet, for body massages, facials or sauna & jacuzzi......

We also arrange a day with a Cookery Demonstration during the year at the "Chateau La Bruyere" with our neighbour here in Soumeras, 11am - 4pm -Cookery demonstration with chef Phillipe, then sample a typical 3 course french meal, followed by a tour of the Chateau.
