Holiday Home – sleeps 6 - two bedrooms (one with queen size bed and doors out to the patio, the second bedroom has twin beds and room for a third bed if needed, there is also a cot available); living room has fireplace, double sofa-bed, dining area, patio doors to garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Patio with gas barbeque, table and chairs. A cot, crib, highchair and play-pen are available. There is a TV, DVD player, selection of board games and books for those quiet evenings in front of the fireplace!
We have a newly installed 24' swimming pool for our guests to enjoy during the hot summer months, and also a 7-person Jacuzzi hot-tub for our visitors to enjoy year-round.
The apartment is located on a 9 acre hobby farm overlooking fields and a wooded valley, with wild-flowers, birds and wildlife - a haven for nature lovers! You can fish in the small river that runs through our property, and enjoy excellent golfing within a 15 minute drive - there are 17 Public and Semi-Private Golf Courses in the London & St Thomas area.
The apartment overlooks fields and woodland. This area is popular with bird-watchers - you can sit on the patio and watch the wild birds gather at the bird feeders. Hummingbirds, Cardinals, Blue-Jays and Orioles visit our garden during the summer months. We have some small farm animals here, including breeding poultry, geese, ducks and friendly pygmy goa

St Thomas area - close to Lake Erie, great Golfing, Hiking, Horse riding, Fishing
By car you can explore this beautiful area of Southern Ontario, which has great beaches, several wineries, great golfing, quaint villages and the weekly farmer's market at the nearby town of Aylmer. We are a 5 minute drive from the town of St Thomas, with its Railway Museum, statue of Jumbo the Elephant (who met an untimely death here in 1885).
St Thomas has all the charm of a small town and is a community known for friendly people, easy, inexpensive living in safe neighbourhoods with abundant, accessible parkland and community facilities. In 15 minutes you can be in the pretty fishing village of Port Stanley or the Provincial Park at Port Burwell, enjoying the peace and tranquility of some of the last remaining Carolinian forest in Ontario.

Tariff Notes
Weeks run from Saturday at 4pm, until the following Saturday at 11am, however during the off season shorter stays and alternate check-in days can be arranged.
A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking, the balance is due on arrival.
We supply a "Welcome Pack" of start-up groceries for our guests - coffee, tea, sugar, milk, fresh eggs, cheese and a loaf of home-made bread.
