Immerse yourself in the charismatic Crake Valley and we’ll share with you the real lake district! Situated high on Lowick Common, Coal Yeat Cottages offer extensive unrivalled views over the Crake valley and the Coniston fells including Coniston old man and Dow Crag with the southern shores of Coniston Water twinkling in the foreground.

The conversion is sympathetic to its unique environment and incorporates use of slate, solid wood and granite kitchens with classic contempory furnishings.

We are situated on the southern fringe of the Lake District National Park in pure isolation betwixt Ulverston and Lowick within the Crake valley. Less than three miles in one direction finds all the amenities of the popular market town of Ulverston with its wide choice of eclectic shops, inns and restaurants, a championship golf course, sports centre with swimming pool and gym.

In less than half an hour you can be in the centre of the Lake District or along the Cumbrian coast.

Tariff Notes

We include a welcome pack for all our guests- everyone needs to be able to have a cup of tea and a treat after a long drive!

Cleaning, linen - bath towels and tea towels (please bring your own bath towels), heat, light and unlimited hot water are included in the rental. All essential items such as toilet roll, dishwasher tablets, cleaning items and essential store cupboard ingredients (sugar, condiments etc) are also provided.

Reductions available for short breaks out of season or for two or more consecutive weeks. Please enquire with requested dates.

Payment is preferred by cheque although credit cards are accepted subject to a 2.5% charge.

A non refundable deposit of 10% confirms your booking with the balance payable 4 weeks before arrival.
