Situated on the south-west side of Bulgaria at the foot hills of the Pirin range, this beautiful alpine region offers history, superb scenery and its own ancient town. Additional Information
Best way to get to bansko is through a transfer costing 80 Euros, especially if you are flying into Sofia at night and never been to Bulgaria before. The public bus is only 14lev one way from Sofia to Bansko so there is cheaper options available. Otherwise, a hire car is a a possibility collecting from the airport
